Hunt School is a Title 1 campus. We use our federal dollars to help all students meet state standards. As a Title 1 campus we work to meet all 10 of the following school-wide components.
- A comprehensive needs assessment of the entire school
- Schoolwide reform strategies that provide opportunities for all children to meet state standards by using effective research-based instructional strategies
- Instruction provided by highly qualified teachers
- High quality and ongoing professional development for all staff
- Strategies to attract high-quality highly qualified teachers to high-need schools
- Strategies to increase parental involvement
- Plans for assisting preschool children
- Measures to include teachers in the decisions regarding the use of academic assessments
- Activities to ensure that students who have trouble mastering the proficient or advanced levels of academic achievement
- Coordination and integration of federal, state, and local services and programs
