At Hunt ISD, we believe that attendance is a key factor in student achievement and that any absence from school represents an educational loss to the student.  Once a student is grades PreK-8th is enrolled at Hunt School, they are required to comply with the Texas compulsory attendance laws.

Students are considered tardy when the second morning bell rings at 8:00 AM, and teachers officially take roll between 9:00-9:30 AM. Roll is taken every period for middle school students.
